Still in Amazement.
There will be a post either on Sunday Evening or Monday about my RENT experiences.  Yes that is plural... experienceS!  I am going with Stephanie Sunday night! Who needs the Super Bowl?! Psh.
There will be lots of photos, reviews, comments, and the video blog!
Oh you are in for a treat.

Blogging since Sadie said so.

Ok.  Decided I would do a quick blog since Sadie the Dog told me that I needed to get blogging.  (Sadie is my cousin Stephanie's puppy).  This week has been pretty good.  Nothing amazing really has happened but the week has been pretty good.  For instance...

1.  I started my Pilates DVD!  I actually do the entire thing!  I'm proud of me.

2.  We changed the show we are doing from The Laramie Project to Waiting for Lefty.

3.  I REALLY want to see Revolutionary Road and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

4.  I am going to see RENT tomorrow!  With Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp!  AHHH! :)

5.  I have to do costume designs for Antigone.  I am probably the most uncreative person visually on the planet.  This could create a problem.

6.  I just heard about this huge plan Obama has for the budget or something.  I don't really know anything about it.  I should probably learn.

7.  I have decided that summertime needs to hurry up.  I'm ready to wear a sundress again!

8. Part of me wants to change my major, but I know I will miss music.

9.  Speaking of jobs... I have two random ones that I think would be so much fun.  1.  Work for the Travel Channel, have a show, and tour the world.  2.  Be a Wedding Planner.  It would be so fun.  You would get to plan big elaborate parties, but spend other people's money!  However, I would not want to do that for a living.

10. I'm going to bed early tonight... as in right now.

xoxo.

Today was a snowday. (well sorta...  I skipped class)
Yesterday was a holiday.
The two days before that were weekend days.
There is no excuse for my lack of blogging.
Blogger. Fail.
Will hopefully blog tomorrow!

Weekend in Review

Weekend Review!
I spent the weekend in... yep, you guessed it!  Spartanburg!  Paul had his Winter Ball so Saturday I drove up and went!  We had a lot of fun!   I finally got to use the shagging moves he taught me in Poland!  Then I stayed with JoAnne at Converse!  I miss seeing her everyday!  Then on Sunday I went to Morningside for church!  I always love visiting everyone there!
Today, classes started back!  I had Psychology and Theatre!   I have missed being in a theatre class!  I'm pretty excited.  We are reading lots of plays and then we are looking at each part of the theatre.  Usually, I have only seen what the actor has to do to prepare for a show but seeing what the director, set designer, and the costume designer have to do will be a neat experience!
Tomorrow I have English, Speech and New Testament.  I'm pretty excited about New Testament because the only "teaching" of religion has been in a church.  I am hoping this class challenges me and strengthens my faith!
Tomorrow I might audition for a show The Laramie Project.  I read it tonight to prepare for auditions.  I really enjoyed it.  It will be different than any show I've ever done before.  It is a very serious play about being tolerant of other's life decisions.  Should be pretty good... we shall see!
Here are some pictures from Winter Ball :)

Wow.  (I feel like 1 in 3 posts begin with the word wow).  It's been a crazy new year.  I didn't set any concrete resolutions just because I felt like I would not keep them and then I would feel bad about myself.  Last night at Bible Study however, I decided I might make a couple.

1. Spend more time with Christ. - Not because I "need" to, or not to put it on a "to do" list.  But I really want and desire to have a true thriving relationship with Jesus Christ.  Hopefully this will be easier to keep than normal due to the fact we are starting a book in Chad and Courtney's class
2. I must exercise. - I am not going to even say go to the gym because with my schedule, that is not always a possibility.  I am going to go when I can but if I cannot, I resolve to exercise in some way shape or form everyday.
3.  Practice the Piano-  Music Ed Major here..  HELLO.  Might be a good idea when that test for piano rolls around.
4. Eat healthy.- I tell people this and they look at me like I'm crazy and give me that "you don't need to lose weight, you need to eat speech."  I'm not doing it to lose weight.  I want to be a healthy eater so I am a healthy human.
5. I'm going to try to blog at least every other day... We will see how that goes.

I think that's all...

This year has started out rather well.   It started with New Years Eve at the Paul's for a party.  Then New Years day was terrible due to the Gamecock massacre.  Big Fat Boo.  On that Friday, the 2nd, we went skiing.  That was a lot of fun.  I learned that I was a terrible skier, even though I had been several times before.  Then it was back home to Lancaster for Colin and Brenna's Birthday Party and dinner with friends from high school before everyone went their separate ways for second semester.  This week has been pretty good.  I worked two days this week and then had a break Wed-Fri.  It was kinda pleasant to relax and not have anything to do for a couple of days.  This weekend is going to be fun.  I am going to Spartanburg again for Paul's semi-formal.  I get to stay with JoAnne!  How I miss her!   Then it's back to Lancaster for second semester to start.  Should be interesting!
I'll post again Sunday probably.
Oh... one more thing... the governor is an IMBECILE.
That is all.

looking back upon this years election i would merly like to mention my final thoughts. first i find an apparent falicy in the idea of supporting all regardless of their contribution to society. in a nation that has repededly shown the superiority of capitolism we must maintain exactly the same ideals which brought this country from a fledgling thirteen colonies to the fifty states that compose the greatest nation in the world. we must reward those who suceed or we will shurely become an eloian society doomed to be crushed by the morlocks of the world.
